The 5th Bi-Annual, Non-Partisan Election Night Gathering
Come and enjoy good food, great company, and watch as the election returns from around the country are tallied. Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Libertarian, or Vegetarian -- anyone and everyone is welcome to join. All that is required is that you are interested in the election outcome.
Just as in 2006, this year the event will be held in Downtown Houston at the Flying Saucer. There will be plenty of TVs available for watching the returns on different local and national news channels. There will also be wireless internet availability for anyone interested in following the returns on the web. Additionally, there will be several promotions that evening just for this event. As a result, some food and beverages will be available at discounted cost. There is no admission charge.
Since there will be a guest list at the door, each and every attendee MUST individually RSVP. Because it is a Tuesday night, please feel free to come and go as you please. Show up whenever you like, stay for as long as you like, and leave whenever you choose.
As a side note, all predictions of the election outcome must be submitted by October 29. Prizes will be awarded to each person who makes the most accurate prediction in each category, as well as a grand prize that will be awarded to the person who makes the most accurate predictions in every category. |
